SAP Invests in n8n and Plans Integration into Joule Studio
n8n has received a strategic investment from SAP, doubling its valuation to $5.2 billion. The two companies also signed a multi-year commercial agreement under which n8n's workflow automation platform will be embedded into Joule Studio, SAP's agent building environment in the SAP Business AI Platform, announced in a press release.
The integration will give enterprise users a visual automation canvas that supports no-code, low-code, and pro-code development, while inheriting SAP's security and compliance features. n8n currently offers over 1,000 integrations connecting business tools, databases, and AI models, enabling teams to link SAP systems with their broader technology stack.
n8n supports multi-agent orchestration, allowing AI systems to identify business events, coordinate decisions, and trigger actions in a controlled and auditable environment. The platform is designed to help enterprises maintain data sovereignty and meet regulatory requirements such as GDPR.
According to SAP CEO Christian Klein, the integration of n8n into Joule Studio will accelerate SAP's ability to help customers design and scale agentic AI across core business processes.
