Robotera has raised nearly RMB 1 billion (approximately USD 140 million) in a Series A+ funding round led by Geely Capital, with strategic participation from BAIC Capital, announced in a press release. The round was completed on November 20, 2025, and also included support from global industrial investors such as Alibaba Group and Haier Capital.

The new funding will accelerate the iteration and mass production of Robotera's humanoid and service robots, including its bipedal and wheeled models and the dexterous XHAND 1. The addition of Geely Capital and BAIC Capital is expected to strengthen industrial deployment and supply chain integration.

Founded in August 2023, Robotera focuses on embodied intelligence systems that learn and adapt through physical interaction. Its robots are already deployed across major technology companies, with its bipedal humanoid demonstrating autonomous snow walking and record-setting jumps at the World Humanoid Robot Games. The company’s XHAND 1 platform is widely used in research settings for reinforcement learning and robotic manipulation studies.
