Robo.ai and DaBoss.AI have established a joint venture in the UAE to create a distributed embodied intelligence data acquisition and annotation center, addressing challenges in data scale, cost, and compliance for large AI models.

Robo.ai and DaBoss.AI have signed a definitive agreement to create a joint venture in the United Arab Emirates focused on a distributed embodied intelligence data platform, announced in a press release.

The venture, controlled by Robo.ai with a 51% equity stake, will build a global data acquisition and annotation center designed to address challenges in data scale, acquisition cost, and compliance for large AI models. It aims to accelerate the deployment of embodied AI systems across real-world business scenarios.

The project will combine DaBoss.AI’s expertise in embodied intelligence data and distributed collaboration with Robo.ai’s global infrastructure. It will employ a dual-engine data methodology, gathering embodied data through robotic terminals and non-embodied data via VR and wearable devices to produce high-fidelity datasets.

Robo.ai will consolidate the joint venture’s financial results under U.S. GAAP and plans to complete its initial network deployment and begin commercial operations within 90 days of the agreement’s signing.
