Rebar Raises $14M Series A to Scale AI Platform for HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing
Less than a year after commercial launch, Rebar has closed a $14 million Series A round led by Prudence, announced in a press release. Other participants include Zero Infinity Partners, Founder Collective, Villain Capital, and Optimist Ventures.
Rebar’s AI platform automates the processing of construction documents such as blueprints and specification books, extracting data to streamline estimating and quoting for HVAC contractors and distributors. The company says its system reduces the time required for generating quotes from hours or days to minutes while improving accuracy.
The funding will support Rebar’s expansion into additional workflows and verticals, including electrical and plumbing, as well as geographic growth in the U.S. and abroad. The company plans to continue developing its AI operating system to serve more stakeholders across the HVAC value chain.
