Razor Labs has announced a strategic partnership with Process Automation to deploy its AI-based predictive maintenance platform, DataMind AI™, in South African mining operations.

Razor Labs has announced a strategic partnership with Process Automation to accelerate AI-driven digital transformation in South African mining, announced in a press release. Process Automation will serve as Razor Labs' official partner and system integrator in Africa, facilitating the rollout of Razor Labs' flagship AI-based Predictive Maintenance platform, DataMind AI™, to mines and processing plants across the region.

DataMind AI™ is designed to enhance industrial operations by using AI Sensor Fusion technology, which combines data from various sources such as vibration, pressure, and temperature sensors. This technology provides early warnings, failure diagnostics, and performance insights, helping mines improve uptime, reduce maintenance costs, and enhance safety.

Process Automation, with over 45 years of experience and a strong presence in Southern Africa, will leverage its local expertise to support the deployment of these AI solutions. The partnership aims to move mining operations from reactive to proactive maintenance, ultimately achieving autonomous maintenance, thereby driving mutual growth and operational efficiency.
