PUFsecurity PUFrt Receives OCP S.A.F.E. Scope 3 Approval
PUFsecurity said in a press release that its PUFrt silicon security technology received OCP S.A.F.E. Scope 3 approval after an independent assessment. The assessment covered resistance to physical threats including fault injection and side channel attacks.
PUFrt provides hardware Root of Trust functions for Caliptra, an open source architecture that gives server chips a verifiable identity and trusted boot path. It combines NeoPUF technology for secrets unique to each chip, NeoFuse memory for on chip storage, and an entropy source compliant with NIST SP 800-90B.
PUFsecurity presented PUFrt during a Caliptra workshop at the 2026 OCP Global Summit. The product now appears on the Open Compute Project Foundation Marketplace and supports Caliptra 1.x and 2.x silicon requirements.
