PTC Integrates NVIDIA Omniverse for Enhanced AI Design and Simulation
PTC has announced the integration of NVIDIA Omniverse technologies into its Creo and Windchill solutions, announced in a press release. This collaboration aims to enhance the design and simulation of AI infrastructure and complex products by bringing CAD and PLM data into real-time simulation and immersive design environments.
The integration will allow teams to visualize and interact with the most current Creo design data in a shared, immersive environment. By using Omniverse OpenUSD and RTX libraries, PTC will enable users to access high-fidelity 3D simulations directly within their PLM environment. This approach is expected to accelerate development processes, improve product quality, and facilitate more effective collaboration across the entire product lifecycle.
Additionally, PTC has joined the Alliance for OpenUSD, reinforcing its commitment to open standards and data interoperability for AI development. This move builds on PTC's role as a software partner for NVIDIA, helping to deliver advanced hardware for AI applications.
