Peachtree Corners Integrates NVIDIA AI for Smart City Advancements
Peachtree Corners has integrated NVIDIA L4 Tensor Core GPUs with NxGo's traffic management system to enhance smart city capabilities, announced in a press release. This integration aims to improve real-time AI and edge computing capabilities within the city's 5G smart city ecosystem.
The collaboration involves the deployment of NVIDIA GPUs in Curiosity Lab's Innovation Center, where each Dell server is equipped with three NVIDIA GPUs. These GPUs manage and analyze data from a network of smart city sensors and devices, significantly boosting AI-powered video analytics performance. The NVIDIA L4 GPUs are expected to accelerate applications for intelligent traffic solutions, crowd management, and city operational improvements.
Curiosity Lab and City of Peachtree Corners are expanding their infrastructure with NVIDIA's accelerated computing to support a growing ecosystem of smart city solutions. This includes leveraging NVIDIA's software stack, such as NVIDIA Metropolis and NVIDIA NIM, to enhance AI capabilities in areas like vision AI, generative AI, and digital twin technologies.
