PCS Software Adds AI Trip Building to LTL Dispatch

PCS Software expanded the LTL capabilities in its Dispatch platform on September 21, the company said in a press release. Its Cortex module builds multi stop trips and groups loads by lane, weight and trailer capacity.

A new Consolidation Workbench tracks weight, cube and available space. The Cortex Trip Builder applies carrier constraints, explains load matches in plain English and provides 3D trailer and route views. Load Splitting supports shipments with multiple legs.

The platform also allocates revenue and expenses across shared trips and recommends rates using historical lane and cost data. It supports LTL, full truckload and brokerage operations within the same transportation management system.
