OVHcloud Upgrades CNCF Membership to Platinum

OVHcloud has upgraded its Cloud Native Computing Foundation membership to the Platinum level. The cloud provider contributes to Harbor and operates thousands of Kubernetes clusters across 20 public cloud regions.

Cloud Native Computing Foundation says OVHcloud has upgraded its membership to the Platinum level, according to an announcement. The cloud provider has used OpenStack since 2012 and joined the OpenStack Foundation in 2014.

OVHcloud engineers contributed a Kubernetes Operator to Harbor in 2020 and became project maintainers. In March 2026, its AI Deploy and Managed Kubernetes Service received approval through CNCF's Kubernetes AI Conformance Program.

OVHcloud's Managed Kubernetes Service operates thousands of production clusters using Kubernetes and Cilium. The service spans 20 public cloud regions and uses Cilium for tenant networking, observability and security.
