OpenAI has introduced new personalization options in ChatGPT, allowing users to adjust the chatbot’s warmth, enthusiasm, and emoji use directly through the settings menu.

OpenAI has added new personalization controls to ChatGPT, enabling users to adjust the chatbot’s warmth, enthusiasm, and emoji usage. The update allows these traits to be set to More, Less, or Default within the Personalization settings menu.

The new options expand on existing tone presets introduced earlier, such as Professional, Candid, and Quirky. Users can now fine-tune how expressive ChatGPT appears in conversation, including how it uses headers and lists.

This update follows earlier adjustments to the chatbot’s tone after user feedback on previous versions that were considered either too cold or overly flattering. The expanded personalization aims to give users more control over the chatbot’s conversational style.
