Onymos and Vanta Diagnostics Report AI Lab Intake Results
Onymos and Vanta Diagnostics said in a press release that their AI assisted laboratory intake work increased operational efficiency by up to 72%. The collaboration used Onymos DocKnow in Vanta Diagnostics' accessioning workflow to convert incoming laboratory forms and documents into validated structured data.
Vanta Diagnostics reported that requisition processing times fell to as little as one minute. The lab also expanded capacity by more than 300 additional samples per day, or about 6,500 samples per month, while using fewer laboratory personnel.
The companies also reported a 40% reduction in accessioning errors. DocKnow interprets laboratory requisitions and supporting clinical documentation, validates information across multiple sources, and sends enriched outputs to downstream systems used by laboratories.
