Nexdata Opens Embodied AI Data Factory in Singapore

Nexdata Technology Inc. announced in a press release that it has completed and fully launched its Embodied AI Data Factory in Singapore. The facility aims to support global development of embodied AI systems by providing high-quality, real-world interaction data for training humanoid robots and intelligent agents.

The 4,000-square-meter factory features configurable physical environments such as supermarkets, factories, and pharmacies to simulate real-world conditions across industries including retail, healthcare, and industrial automation. It integrates a multimodal data acquisition system that captures visual, motion, speech, tactile, and force data to support diverse embodied AI tasks.

The facility deploys over 100 humanoid robots and 50 robotic hands from multiple manufacturers, enabling data collection across a wide range of scenarios. Nexdata said the operation includes a closed-loop pipeline for data collection, annotation, and quality control, achieving annotation accuracy above 98%.

The company added that the factory operates under international data security and privacy standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 27001, and GDPR compliance. Nexdata plans to expand capabilities with new robotic platforms, sensor types, and task configurations to further enhance embodied AI data production.
