NetCarrier Names Doug Derstine as CEO

NetCarrier has appointed Doug Derstine as its new President and Chief Executive Officer, effective May 18, 2026. He succeeds Brook Lenfest, who will continue as Chairman of the Board.

NetCarrier has appointed Doug Derstine as its new President and Chief Executive Officer, effective May 18, 2026, announced in a press release. He succeeds Brook Lenfest, who will step back from daily operations and continue as Chairman of the Board.

Derstine brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in telecommunications, fiber infrastructure, managed services, and cloud communications. He previously served as CEO and Board Member of WANRack, and earlier held senior roles at FirstLight Fiber, Windstream, and PAETEC.

Under Derstine’s leadership, NetCarrier plans to continue investing in cloud communications, AI powered voice automation, managed services, and channel growth. The company said it aims to strengthen its market position and expand its capabilities in AI enabled communications.

NetCarrier, based in Audubon, Pennsylvania, provides unified communications and AI powered voice automation solutions to businesses across the United States through its proprietary ConnectSmart platform.
