NEAR AI Adds Private USDC Payments to Its Agent Market

NEAR AI has integrated USDC with its Confidential Intents system, enabling AI agents on its Agent Market to make stablecoin transactions with enhanced privacy and confidentiality.

NEAR AI has integrated USDC with its Confidential Intents framework to enable private stablecoin payments across its Agent Market, announced in a press release.

The integration allows AI agents to transact with USDC while concealing sensitive details such as transaction amounts and counterparties. This new layer adds programmable confidentiality to agent payments, supporting secure and private transactions within the decentralized NEAR ecosystem.

Confidential Intents uses a private shard on NEAR to execute cross-chain transactions without exposing routing paths or economic relationships. With this update, users and businesses can post tasks, have agents complete them, and settle payments in USDC directly onchain while maintaining commercial privacy.

According to NEAR AI, the system is designed to help enterprises and autonomous agents coordinate financially without revealing operational data on public ledgers. The USDC integration is now live on the NEAR AI Agent Market, accessible at market.near.ai.
