November 10, 2025
The National Health Council has launched PXI: Patient Experience + Innovation Center, a national initiative to ensure patients and caregivers are central to the development and use of AI and digital health technologies.

The National Health Council announced in a press release the launch of PXI: Patient Experience + Innovation Center, a national initiative aimed at ensuring patients and caregivers play a key role in shaping artificial intelligence and digital health technologies.

The PXI Center operates under a concierge model that connects innovators, researchers, nonprofits, and investors with patients and caregivers across the United States. This model allows collaborators to integrate patient experiences into the design, implementation, and evaluation of health technologies.

PXI includes a Stakeholder Collaborative, a tiered partnership structure that supports diverse participants, and Pathways to Partnership, which allows smaller organizations to engage regardless of budget. The initiative also offers educational resources, collaborative projects, and leadership networks to advance patient-informed innovation.

The launch follows the Council’s partnership with Sphere, the company behind the AI platform OrgBrain, to promote patient-centered integration of AI across health organizations.
