mPWR Acquires Mexican Fintech Kredeo to Expand in Latin America
mPWR has announced the acquisition of Mexico-based fintech Kredeo, according to a press release. The all-equity transaction, pending certain agreed conditions, will give mPWR 100% ownership of Kredeo.
Through the acquisition, mPWR gains access to Kredeo’s regulatory licenses, technology platform, and local infrastructure, supporting its entry into Mexico’s financial services market. The company plans to integrate Kredeo’s assets to offer bundled financial products including smartphone leasing, microloans, and SME financing.
Kredeo’s technology stack includes KYC and AML systems along with payment gateways, which will enable mPWR to scale operations and comply with local regulations. The transaction aligns with mPWR’s ongoing capital raise and is expected to close soon, with further integration details to be shared in upcoming investor updates.
