Michael Emil Shafik Joins NVIDIA as Senior Product Program Manager for DGX Platform

Michael Emil Shafik, formerly a product manager at Tesla, has joined NVIDIA as Senior Product Program Manager, where he will help lead initiatives for the DGX hardware platform, according to a press release.

Michael Emil Shafik has joined NVIDIA as a Senior Product Program Manager focused on the DGX Platform | NVIDIA, announced in a press release. He will lead initiatives aimed at accelerating adoption of artificial intelligence and high-performance computing through the company’s data center infrastructure solutions.

Before joining NVIDIA, Shafik served as a Staff Technical Product Manager at Tesla, Inc. since 2023, guiding the vision and execution of complex projects related to sustainable energy and transportation. His earlier experience includes several product management roles at Meta from 2017 to 2023.

Shafik holds a Master of Science in Architectural Engineering from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Assiut University. His academic work includes co-authoring research on energy-efficient cooling systems. In addition to his technical career, he leads a mentorship program called PurposeLink for young professionals.
