NVIDIA Announces 13 More European Tech Stakes
NVIDIA announces 13 planned minority stakes in European technology companies, adding details to its previously disclosed plan for $2 billion in new European investments, according to Trending Topics.
CEO Jensen Huang said NVIDIA deployed about $8 billion in Europe during the past year. Including the new commitments, the total reaches about $10 billion. NVIDIA has not disclosed how much of that sum represents equity investments rather than infrastructure spending, or the size of most individual stakes.
NVIDIA invested in 26 European technology companies during the previous three years. Its portfolio includes model developers Mistral AI and Black Forest Labs, along with companies working on voice AI, software, robotics, autonomous vehicles, quantum computing and cloud services.
The $10 billion figure would equal an estimated 11 to 16 percent of European technology investment in 2026. That calculation is approximate because the total may include infrastructure and publicly traded companies, while NVIDIA investments are also included in reported funding rounds.
