Metabolon Introduces Verus Metabolomics Profiling Kit for Global Research Use

May 27, 2026
Metabolon has released the Metabolon Verus metabolomics profiling kit, enabling laboratories worldwide to perform standardized and reproducible metabolomic analyses using validated workflows and integrated bioinformatics tools.

Metabolon announced in a press release the launch of its Metabolon Verus metabolomics profiling kit, designed to make its analytical capabilities available to laboratories globally. The kit will debut ahead of the 74th ASMS Conference on Mass Spectrometry.

The Metabolon Verus kit enables researchers with LC-MS capabilities to generate standardized and reproducible metabolomic data locally. It includes a complete workflow covering sample preparation, quality control, data acquisition, automated annotation, and biological interpretation through Metabolon's integrated bioinformatics platform.

The system aims to reduce variability between operators and studies while improving data consistency across sites. It also supports both small and large-scale projects without altering workflows or data quality. Researchers can integrate metabolomic results with other omics data such as transcriptomics, proteomics, and metagenomics for broader biological insights.

Metabolon stated that the Verus kit extends access to its validated metabolomics methods, combining rigorous quality standards with flexibility for diverse research environments in academia, contract research, and biopharma.
