Meta has signed agreements with TerraPower, Oklo, and Vistra to supply more than 6 gigawatts of nuclear power for its Prometheus AI data center in Ohio, securing long-term energy for its growing AI operations.

Meta has signed agreements with TerraPower, Oklo, and Vistra to supply over 6 gigawatts of nuclear power for its Prometheus AI data center in New Albany, Ohio, reports TechCrunch. The deals will provide long-term energy capacity to support Meta’s expanding AI infrastructure.

Under the agreement, Vistra will supply 2.1 gigawatts from its existing Perry and Davis-Besse nuclear plants in Ohio and add capacity at those sites and its Beaver Valley plant in Pennsylvania. The expansions are expected to deliver an additional 433 megawatts by the early 2030s.

Oklo will develop a 1.2-gigawatt power campus in Pike County, Ohio, using its Aurora Powerhouse small modular reactors, each producing 75 megawatts. The company aims to begin supplying power by 2030. TerraPower, co-founded by Bill Gates, will deliver two Natrium reactors generating 690 megawatts by 2032, with options for six additional units totaling 2.8 gigawatts of nuclear capacity and 1.2 gigawatts of storage.

Financial terms of the agreements were not disclosed. The Prometheus facility, announced in July 2025, is a 1-gigawatt AI data center cluster expected to come online later this year.
