LivePerson Urges Vote for SoundHound AI Acquisition

LivePerson urged stockholders to vote for its pending acquisition by SoundHound AI before a special meeting on August 20, 2026, announced in a press release.

The LivePerson board unanimously recommended that stockholders vote for the transaction. Independent proxy advisory firm Glass Lewis also recommended a vote in favor of the deal.

The special meeting is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time. LivePerson said the transaction requires approval from holders of a majority of all outstanding shares, so any share not voted will have the same effect as a vote against the deal.

LivePerson said a vote in favor would exchange LivePerson shares for shares in SoundHound AI. The company urged stockholders to submit votes as soon as possible.
