Lili Launches MCP Server to Connect AI Assistants with Banking Data for Accountants
Lili has launched its Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for accountants, announced in a press release. The new integration allows AI assistants to securely access client-authorized banking data within Lili, offering accounting professionals a faster way to review and act on financial information.
The MCP server is designed to help accountants manage multiple clients more efficiently by automating tasks such as generating daily or monthly summaries of financial status, identifying overdue invoices, tracking unpaid bills, and monitoring low balances. The workflows are powered by real time banking data, enabling accountants to detect potential cash flow issues before they escalate.
According to Lili, the system supports the growing need for AI-enhanced workflows in accounting, where professionals often face long hours and delays caused by unprepared client data. By connecting AI tools directly to banking information, the company aims to give accountants faster access to insights and reduce time spent on manual data handling.
Lili’s MCP server builds on its broader offerings for accounting firms, integrating AI workflows and client banking data into existing systems used by financial professionals.
