Liberty Mutual Launches Conversational AI Auto Insurance Quotes in ChatGPT

Liberty Mutual Insurance has introduced a new conversational AI app within ChatGPT that allows users to receive personalized auto insurance quotes in minutes. The service is available in seven states and will expand to over 40 by the end of 2026.

Liberty Mutual Insurance has introduced a carrier-backed conversational AI auto insurance quoting app within ChatGPT, announced in a press release. The tool enables ChatGPT users to obtain personalized auto insurance quotes from Liberty Mutual through a chat interaction instead of a traditional online form.

The feature is currently available to drivers in Arizona, Kentucky, Ohio, Missouri, New Mexico, Utah, and Wisconsin. Liberty Mutual stated that it plans to expand access to more than 40 states by the end of the year.

Users can receive a quote by answering a short series of questions in ChatGPT. After receiving the quote, they are directed to LibertyMutual.com to finalize coverage and bind their policy. The app uses Liberty Mutual’s own rating engine to generate accurate, personalized quotes based on user inputs, differing from aggregator tools that provide general price ranges.
