LenioBio and AffinityAI Partner for AI-Driven Protein Discovery
LenioBio has announced a strategic partnership with AffinityAI to enhance the discovery of novel complex proteins through AI-guided design and high-throughput cell-free expression. Announced in a press release, this collaboration integrates LenioBio's ALiCE® platform with AffinityAI's Designerbodies™ engine to significantly speed up the discovery and optimization of de novo proteins.
The partnership aims to close the traditional "lab-in-loop" gap by enabling design, testing, and feedback cycles to be completed in days rather than weeks. AffinityAI's computational pipeline generates and refines novel protein sequences, while LenioBio's ALiCE® platform allows for immediate expression and scalable production without the limitations of living cells. This synergy facilitates faster screening, iterative optimization, and expression of challenging proteins.
AffinityAI specializes in the in-silico design of high-affinity, stable binding proteins called Designerbodies™, which are designed with predefined binding sites for superior precision and control. These designs will be rapidly screened and optimized using LenioBio's ALiCE® system, creating an automated, high-throughput pipeline for next-generation protein products in drug development, diagnostics, and biomedical research.
