Leidos and Rune Partner on AI Logistics for Indo-Pacific Military Operations
Leidos and Rune Technologies have announced a partnership to develop predictive logistics and sustainment tools supported by artificial intelligence for military forces operating in the Indo-Pacific region. The partnership was announced in a press release and aims to improve mission readiness and logistics management across extended and distributed operational environments.
The collaboration combines Rune's predictive logistics and sustainment mission command software with Leidos' data integration and decision-making systems. The integrated platform is intended to help commanders anticipate logistics requirements, improve visibility of resources, and sustain missions in contested areas.
According to the release, the combined system will address challenges such as long-distance operations and maritime coordination in the Indo-Pacific. The companies said the initiative supports Leidos' NorthStar 2030 strategy, which focuses on the application of AI in mission software and decision support for defense operations.
