La Caisse Provides CAD 240 Million Financing for Cologix’s AI-Ready Montreal Data Center
La Caisse has provided CAD 240 million in senior financing for Cologix’s MTL8 AI-ready data center in Montreal, announced in a press release. The facility, located in Technoparc Montréal near the city’s international airport, is operational and powered entirely by hydroelectricity.
The MTL8 site offers 21 megawatts of capacity and connects to Cologix’s network of 11 other data centers in Montreal. The structure and building envelope are complete, and the facility achieved LEED Gold certification in 2025 for meeting high sustainability standards.
This marks the third investment by La Caisse in Cologix since their partnership began in 2021. The financing supports continued expansion of Cologix’s digital infrastructure across Canada, addressing growing demand for cloud and AI computing capacity.
