Kingsoft Cloud Plans Share Offering to Boost AI Business

Kingsoft Cloud has announced a proposal to offer 282 million ordinary shares to support its AI business and enhance cloud service capabilities.

Kingsoft Cloud Holdings Limited has announced a proposal to offer 282 million ordinary shares in offshore transactions, announced in a press release. The offering is aimed at non-U.S. persons and is subject to market conditions and other factors.

Morgan Stanley Asia Limited has been appointed as the placing agent for this transaction. The company plans to allocate 80% of the proceeds to support its AI business, focusing on expanding infrastructure and enhancing cloud service capabilities. The remaining 20% will be used to replenish working capital and for other corporate purposes.

The shares will not be registered under the Securities Act or any state securities laws, and they will not be offered in the United States or to U.S. persons. The company aims to complete the use of the proceeds by December 31, 2028.
