Khoros Launches Aurora AI Platform for Enterprise Communities

April 13, 2026
Khoros, under IgniteTech, has introduced Aurora AI, a new AI-native platform that rebuilds its community product to automate support, moderation, and engagement tasks for enterprises.

Khoros, now part of IgniteTech, has introduced Aurora AI, an AI-native rebuild of its community platform announced in a press release. The new system uses artificial intelligence to manage customer support, product feedback, and community engagement without manual moderation.

Aurora AI is designed to address the 30% of community questions that typically go unanswered. It includes three integrated layers: the Human Engine for gamification and member engagement, an Intelligence Layer powered by live AI systems trained on each community’s data, and an Action Layer managed by Orchestrator, a no-code automation engine. The Intelligence Layer features a Community Language Model, Answer Assist for generating cited responses, and AI Moderation with real-time enforcement.

At launch, Aurora AI includes three beta agents—Answer Assist, AI Moderation, and Orchestrator—with additional agents planned through late 2026. Khoros also stated that migrations from legacy Khoros Community Classic to Aurora AI will be performed free of charge until the end of 2026. Aurora AI complements Khoros’ Iris AI, forming a unified AI-native customer engagement platform.
