Kao Data Names Spencer Lamb as Chief Executive Officer
Kao Data has appointed Spencer Lamb as Chief Executive Officer, announced in a press release. The move completes the company's leadership transition and is intended to guide its next stage of growth.
Lamb has more than twenty years of experience in the international data center industry and joined Kao Data in January 2020. He previously served as Managing Director and Chief Commercial Officer. As CEO, he will oversee daily operations and the expansion of the company’s UK platform, focusing on the growth of its AI ready data center capacity.
He will work alongside Founder and Executive Chair David Bloom, who continues in his operational role overseeing capital structures, partnerships, and long term strategy. During his tenure, Lamb led Kao Data’s market strategy and helped establish its Harlow campus as a key location for high performance computing, AI, and scientific research. His appointment is effective immediately.
