In a press release, Jabil Inc. announced its new J-422G servers, developed to support demanding artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), large language model (LLM), high performance computing (HPC), and fintech workloads.

The J-422G servers feature sixth-generation Intel Xeon 2U Dual Socket MHS Rackmount processors and can support up to four 600W double-wide front GPUs. The design follows the Open Compute Project (OCP) standards for scalable and sustainable server architecture.

Jabil plans to make the servers generally available in November 2025. The company will showcase the J-422G and other server platforms at the 2025 OCP Global Summit in San Jose, California.

This launch follows Jabil’s recent $500 million investment in a new facility in Salisbury, North Carolina, aimed at supporting cloud and AI data center infrastructure customers, expected to be operational by mid-2026.
