Intelo.ai has released an updated version of Merchant AI with demand forecasting, optimization, AI agents, and a memory layer for retail merchandising teams.

Intelo.ai has released an updated version of Merchant AI for retail merchandising, announced in a press release. The platform combines demand forecasting, assortment planning, inventory decisions, decision optimization, AI agent orchestration, and a persistent memory layer.

The release includes a demand model that adjusts forecasts for stockouts and accounts for product effects such as cannibalization and halo impact. It also includes an optimization solver that creates allocation, buying, and rebalancing recommendations based on constraints such as current inventory, vendor minimums, and financial targets.

Merchant AI uses AI agents to review forecasts and solver outputs against retailer playbooks and guardrails. The memory layer records decisions and outcomes, including planner overrides, so later recommendations can use that history.

The updated Merchant AI release is available now to intelo.ai customers and is rolling out across existing deployments.
