Infosys and Handelsblatt Media Group Launch AI Editorial Engine for Digital Storytelling
Infosys and Handelsblatt Media Group have launched Editorial Link Intelligence (ELI), an AI powered editorial recommendation engine designed to improve digital storytelling and reader engagement. The launch was announced in a press release from Düsseldorf and Bengaluru.
Developed using Infosys Aster, ELI analyzes article content and metadata to suggest relevant internal links, helping editors enrich stories while maintaining workflow efficiency. The system is integrated into Handelsblatt and WirtschaftsWoche’s content infrastructure.
According to Handelsblatt Media Group, the tool assists journalists in connecting related content within their content management system, improving navigation and user experience. The company emphasized that editorial control remains with newsroom teams.
Infosys stated that ELI was built through its human experience agency Wongdoody as part of a three year collaboration with Handelsblatt Media Group. The solution aims to streamline editorial operations, enhance efficiency, and support more context rich journalism across the publisher’s digital platforms.
