IFS Names Ryan Courson as Chief Financial Officer
IFS announced in a press release the appointment of Ryan Courson as its new Chief Financial Officer. Courson succeeds Matthias Heiden, who will depart the company in the second quarter of 2026.
Courson joins IFS from Kaseya, where he served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. His previous roles include CFO positions at Cornerstone OnDemand and EagleView, and he has also worked as an investor at Alpha Wave Global, Teton Capital, and Berkshire Hathaway. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis, where he also teaches Investing as an Adjunct Professor.
IFS reported 25 percent growth in Annual Recurring Revenue and a Net Retention Rate of 114 percent in the first quarter of 2026. The company stated that Courson’s appointment comes as it continues to expand its Industrial AI offerings across global markets.
