Identiv Releases ID-Pixels 3.0 for Battery-Free Supply Chain Intelligence

June 01, 2026
Identiv has introduced ID-Pixels 3.0, a new family of Bluetooth Low Energy smart labels built on Wiliot’s Gen3 IC. The labels provide battery-free sensing and continuous asset tracking for supply chains across multiple industries.

Identiv announced in a press release the launch of ID-Pixels 3.0, a new generation of Bluetooth Low Energy inlays and labels built on Wiliot’s Gen3 IC. The product is designed to enable continuous sensing and visibility across supply chains without the use of batteries.

The ID-Pixels 3.0 label captures data such as temperature, humidity, light, and location to provide real time monitoring of goods. Each label includes a unique digital identity and draws power from ambient Bluetooth and UHF signals, removing the need for battery maintenance. The labels integrate with the Wiliot Physical AI platform to convert sensor data into actionable insights for applications including inventory tracking, shipment verification, and cold chain monitoring.

Identiv’s new label family supports large scale deployments in sectors such as retail, logistics, pharmaceuticals, and smart packaging. The company stated that ID-Pixels 3.0 delivers enhanced performance and scalability compared to previous versions, continuing its collaboration with Wiliot that began in 2022.
