Huawei Unveils AI-Powered R-A-A-S Framework for Financial Institutions
Huawei has launched an AI-powered R-A-A-S (Reliability, Availability, Autonomy, and Security) framework to accelerate the digital and intelligent transformation of financial institutions, announced in a press release. The announcement was made at MWC Barcelona 2025, where Huawei introduced its value proposition 'Beyond Digital, Resilience Empowers AI-Infused Finance.'
The R-A-A-S framework is designed to help financial institutions build resilient infrastructure using Huawei's ICT products, solutions, and services. The framework focuses on four key features: Reliability, ensuring zero data loss; Availability, minimizing service interruptions; Autonomy, reducing human errors; and Security, providing rapid identification and blocking of cyber attacks.
Huawei's initiative aims to address the challenges posed by AI integration in financial workflows, which require higher infrastructure standards. The company has already served 53 of the world's top 100 banks, covering over 3,700 financial customers in more than 80 countries and regions.
