Hilco Global Seeks Buyers for Canyon Navigation Patents

Hilco Global is seeking offers to acquire Canyon Navigation's patent portfolio and related assets for autonomous navigation in environments where GPS is limited or unavailable.

Hilco Global's Intellectual Property Services group announced in a press release that it is seeking offers to acquire the patent portfolio and related assets of Canyon Navigation. Non binding indications of interest are due September 17, 2026.

Canyon Navigation developed self describing fiducial technology for navigation of autonomous machines, including drones, industrial robots, and self driving cars, in environments where GPS is limited or unavailable. The landmarks optically transmit their own position, supporting localization without satellite signals.

Hilco Global said the assets can support applications in warehouse automation, construction inspection, drone delivery, aircraft, maritime, agriculture, and automotive systems. Interested parties are directed to contact Hilco Global directly.
