HeyMilo Secures $2.2 Million for AI-Powered Recruitment Platform
HeyMilo has announced $2.2 million in seed funding led by Canaan Partners, as stated in a press release. The funding aims to advance HeyMilo's AI-powered candidate screening platform, which automates the initial interview process to help companies efficiently evaluate candidates.
The platform uses AI agents to conduct tailored interviews, ask follow-up questions, and provide actionable analyses, enabling hiring teams to identify top talent quickly and cost-effectively. This approach addresses the challenges of traditional recruiter-led screenings, which often overlook potential candidates due to time and resource constraints.
HeyMilo's technology integrates with applicant tracking systems (ATS) to generate comprehensive interviews across multiple channels, including voice, video, phone, and SMS. The platform's AI agents screen candidates using "knockout" questions and conduct adaptive interviews to assess skills and fit for roles. Interview responses are transcribed and scored, providing hiring managers with data-driven insights.
The seed funding will be used to accelerate product development, expand the team, and scale customer acquisition efforts. HeyMilo's co-founders, Sabashan Ragavan and Ramie Raufdeen, bring extensive experience from previous roles at major technology companies, including Instagram, Microsoft, and Salesforce.
