Heimdal Security Secures Patent for AI-Driven Predictive DNS Technology

Heimdal Security has been awarded a U.S. patent for its Predictive DNS technology, which uses AI to detect and block malicious domains.

Heimdal Security has been granted U.S. Patent No. 18333620 for its innovative Predictive DNS™ technology, announced in a press release. This technology employs artificial intelligence to assess the likelihood of a domain being malicious, enhancing DNS security by identifying threats before they can be exploited in cyberattacks.

The patented method, titled "Apparatus and Method of Predicting Malicious Domains," utilizes advanced algorithms, machine learning, and natural language processing to evaluate domain risk. By processing input data through a computer system, it predicts potential threats, thereby improving detection speed and accuracy.

Heimdal's Predictive DNS™ technology is integrated into the DNS Security module of the Heimdal XDR platform, supporting automated, risk-aware threat prevention. This development underscores Heimdal's commitment to advancing cybersecurity solutions and maintaining a proactive defense against evolving digital threats.
