HCLTech Completes Purchase of HPE Telco Solutions Business
HCLTech has completed its purchase of Hewlett Packard Enterprise's Telco Solutions business, announced in a press release. The deal was first announced in December 2025.
The acquisition adds telecom intellectual property, software, and integration services covering Operational Support Systems, Home Subscriber Server, and 5G Subscriber Data Management. HCLTech said the business will support work with communications service providers on application modernization, AI based network operations, network virtualization, private 5G, edge networking, and Network as a Service.
Nearly 1,400 engineering and telecom specialists across 39 countries are joining HCLTech through the transaction. The company said the deal expands its presence with communications service providers in North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia Pacific, including Japan.
