GS Microelectronics and Teradyne Plan Silicon Valley Chip Test Center

GS Microelectronics and Teradyne announce a several year partnership to establish a semiconductor test and evaluation center at GSME's new Silicon Valley headquarters, the companies said in a press release. The center will occupy part of the 42,000 square foot site and is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2026.

GSME will operate a test floor equipped with Teradyne automated test platforms. The facility will support device evaluation, engineering, pilot production, technical training and preparation for production.

The center will serve customers developing semiconductors for AI, silicon photonics, automotive systems, power management and radio frequency applications. The partnership also includes engineering support in the United States, Taiwan, Europe and the Gulf Cooperation Council region, with customer demonstrations and evaluations expected shortly after opening.
