General Intuition raises $220M at $6.2B valuation
General Intuition raises another $220 million at a $6.2 billion valuation as it begins making its foundation models available, the company said in a LinkedIn post. Investors include Valor Equity Partners, Atreides Management, 776, Point72, Khosla Ventures, and General Catalyst.
The models are trained on billions of gameplay videos labeled with player actions. General Intuition said its access to videos from Medal gives it more action data than leading robotics foundation models and world models, with Medal on track to receive 3 billion uploaded videos annually.
The company said the models can act in real time across unfamiliar digital and physical environments. It has opened a waitlist for partners seeking early access and plans to expand its teams in New York and Europe.
