Fish Audio Launches Drama 3 Voice Model

Drama 3 lets users direct voice performances in plain language, generate scenes with multiple speakers and edit selected audio segments.

Fish Audio announced in a press release the launch of Drama 3, a text to speech model that lets users direct voice performances with plain language instructions. Users can specify tone, pacing and character traits, including emotional changes within a sentence.

Drama 3 can generate scenes with multiple speakers while preserving each character's voice. Its audio inpainting tool lets users select and regenerate part of a recording while retaining the surrounding voice, mood and rhythm.

The model supports long scripts, language changes within scenes and pronunciation controls at the phoneme level. It includes support for English, Chinese, Japanese and Korean, among other languages. Drama 3 is available through the Fish Audio website and API.

Fish Audio, founded in 2025, says it has grown to $21 million in annual recurring revenue and more than 15 million users. For the first 30 days, API usage of Drama 3 is 80% off.
