Falfurrias Growth Partners Invests in FactorLab to Expand AI Safety Platform

FactorLab has secured a strategic growth investment from Falfurrias Growth Partners to accelerate development of its AI platform for safety and risk intelligence across industrial sectors.

FactorLab has received a strategic growth investment from Falfurrias Growth Partners, announced in a press release. The investment aims to accelerate the company's development of artificial intelligence and machine learning tools for safety and operational risk management in construction, utilities, energy, and industrial industries.

FactorLab, based in Pleasanton, California, is known for its SmartTagIt platform. The platform uses natural language processing and proprietary AI models to analyze frontline conversations and work planning sessions, converting them into actionable insights that help prevent operational failures and improve safety performance.

The company stated that the new funding will support further product development, expansion of its commercial operations, and entry into adjacent markets. FactorLab's system currently operates more than 40 proprietary AI models and has analyzed over two million daily planning conversations across thousands of worksites.

Falfurrias Growth Partners, a Charlotte-based private equity firm, said the investment aligns with its focus on scaling AI-enabled software businesses. As part of the transaction, Falfurrias executive Piers Wells will join FactorLab's board as a director. Financial details of the investment were not disclosed.
