Ever.Ag Embeds AI in Merchant Ag to Boost Retail Efficiency
Ever.Ag announced in a press release that it has embedded artificial intelligence directly into its ag retail platform, Merchant Ag, to improve operational efficiency and decision-making for agricultural retailers.
The company stated that the embedded AI provides contextual answers and guidance using a retailer’s own operational data. Employees can access insights into inventory, pricing, customer activity, and system processes without leaving their workflow, which helps reduce manual effort and onboarding time while improving consistency across teams.
In addition to employee support, the AI integration enables predictive and prescriptive inventory management. The system uses machine learning to forecast demand, identify slow-moving or at-risk inventory, and recommend actions such as transfers or purchasing adjustments to reduce waste and protect margins.
According to research cited by Ever.Ag, applied AI can lift profit margins by 1.2 to 1.9 percentage points while improving returns on existing technology investments. The company said this approach focuses on embedding intelligence within daily workflows rather than introducing standalone tools.
