Edera Secures $15 Million to Enhance Cloud and AI Security

Edera has raised $15 million in Series A funding led by M12 to advance its workload isolation technology, enhancing security for cloud and AI infrastructures.

Edera has raised $15 million in Series A funding, led by M12, Microsoft's Venture Fund, to advance its workload isolation technology, announced in a press release. This funding follows a $5 million seed round three months prior, bringing the total to $20 million.

Edera's technology addresses security vulnerabilities in cloud infrastructures, particularly in AI workloads where shared GPU resources pose significant risks. The company's solution, Edera Protect, offers cloud-native isolation, securing containers by default across all workloads without compromising performance or requiring complex configurations.

The new funding will support the expansion of Edera's product to include AI infrastructure, with the launch of Edera Protect AI. This solution automates GPU configuration and secures AI environments, addressing vulnerabilities like those found in NVIDIA's container toolkit. Edera's approach allows enterprises to consolidate workloads on standard cloud instances, reducing costs while maintaining strict isolation and security.
