DocuSign and Harvey Partner to Connect Legal Reasoning with Agreement Workflows
DocuSign and Harvey have announced a strategic partnership that links Harvey’s legal reasoning platform with DocuSign’s Intelligent Agreement Management (IAM) system, according to a press release. The integration connects legal analysis and agreement execution, allowing teams to move from legal insights to contract actions within one workflow.
The collaboration enables legal teams to use Harvey to retrieve and analyze agreements stored in DocuSign, cross-reference them with relevant laws, and receive agreement-specific answers without manual document review. Users can also initiate DocuSign workflows directly from Harvey to create, amend, and approve agreements.
Within DocuSign, legal professionals can access Harvey Knowledge through the new Iris assistant. This feature provides reasoning support, risk summaries, and review assistance directly in the chat interface, linking legal intelligence with operational processes across departments such as sales, procurement, human resources, and finance.
DocuSign stated that more than 1.8 million customers rely on its platform to manage agreements. The partnership aims to unify legal reasoning and contract management within one connected system.
