DMG Blockchain Acquires 2 MW of AI Data Center Infrastructure

DMG Blockchain has signed a purchase and sale agreement for two megawatts of prefabricated data center (PDC) infrastructure, announced in a press release. This acquisition is part of a larger plan to purchase 10 megawatts of PDC infrastructure, as outlined in a memorandum of understanding (MOU) signed in February 2025.

The company plans to relocate the newly acquired PDC units to its Christina Lake data center, Malahat Nation lands, or a temporary storage location. The infrastructure will serve as the foundation for an AI data center, although additional components such as computing, networking, and storage systems will need to be installed to generate revenue from potential AI off-take agreements.

DMG has 180 days to demonstrate progress in securing off-take agreements with Canadian government entities and enterprises to maintain exclusivity for acquiring the remaining PDC units. The company will issue further updates on the transaction's final structure and terms as they become available.
