Definite Secures $10 Million Seed Funding for AI-Native Data Platform
Definite has announced a $10 million seed funding round led by Costanoa, with participation from Acrew Capital and strategic angels, announced in a press release. This funding aims to accelerate product development and expand go-to-market hiring as Definite scales its AI-native data platform among enterprises.
Definite's platform replaces traditional data stacks by integrating a secure data lake, pipelines, and dashboards, offering a solution that is ten times faster and cheaper than conventional methods. The platform is built on open-source technologies like DuckDB and Apache Iceberg, providing secure, fast, and cost-efficient analytics without vendor lock-in.
Early adopters such as Perfect and Meet Alfred have already started using Definite to streamline their analytics processes, enabling them to make quicker and more informed decisions. The company is also focusing on hiring across engineering and enterprise sales to further its mission of making powerful data infrastructure accessible to modern businesses.
