Crusoe Raises $1.38 Billion to Expand AI Data Centers
Crusoe has raised $1.38 billion in a Series E funding round at a valuation of about $10 billion, reports Reuters. The round was co-led by Valor Equity Partners and Mubadala Capital, with participation from Nvidia, Fidelity Management, and Founders Fund.
The Denver-based company said the funds will accelerate its buildout of large-scale AI data centers. Crusoe has raised approximately $3.9 billion since its founding in 2018 and was involved in constructing OpenAI’s first major U.S. data center.
Crusoe recently brought the first phase of its 1.2-gigawatt data center campus in Abilene, Texas, online, one year after construction began. The company also operates additional large-scale infrastructure projects, including a 1.8-gigawatt campus in Wyoming.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
